Instrumentation: 2 Trumpets in B-flat Horn in F Tenor Trombone Tuba

The word radiance can relate to something that is shining and emitting light, or someone that expresses joy and positivity. The first half of this piece is slow and generally somber, and the second half is faster and relies on rhythmic activity and recurring melodies to build toward a hopeful, optimistic ending.
